A prayer rug (Arabic: sadjada) is a cloth that can be used by Muslims for the 5-times daily prayer, the salat. Although the rug is not mandatory, it helps to pray on a clean surface, especially when the sudjud is performed.
These luxury prayer rugs are made of velvet fabric and are of good quality and comfortable to pray on. They are thicker than the other velvet prayer rugs in our range. Because the prayer rug has no motives, you will not be distracted during prayer.
By default, the name is embroidered at the bottom center to avoid distraction during prayer. We also do not recommend embroidering a name on the place where the Sudjud is performed. If you wish to have the name embroidered in a different place than the bottom center, please let us know.
